Flagstone

Flagstone is very versatile and comes in several colors and sizes. It is commonly used for walkways, patios, pool decking, foundation facing, stairs, wall caps, hearths, mantles, etc. It can also be cut into square and rectangle patterns for a more formal feel.

Flagstone is categorized according to thickness and size.



Thin = 0.25” – 1” Coverage = 175-200 sf/ton
- used for veneer installation on a concrete slab or masonry wall

Medium = 1” – 1.75” Coverage = 100-125 sf/ton
- used primarily for installing on compacted No. 10 sand or crushed gravel with mortared joints

Thick = 2” and up Coverage = 75-100 sf/ton (2”-2.75”)
- used primarily for installing on compacted No. 10 sand or crushed gravel with no mortar

  • Stack Flagstone

    Stack Flagstone comes in smaller easily handled pieces for stack walls, borders, edging, fireplaces, etc.

    Thin Stack = 0.25” – 1” Coverage = 30-40 sf/ton

    Medium Stack = 1” – 1.75” Coverage = 30-40 sf/ton

  • Slab Stock

    We stock slabs of flagstone in varying thickness and color. Availability can be limited. Slabs range in size from 5 to 20 square feet.
