River Rock works well with any landscape and is a unique material for facing walls and fireplaces and can be used as building stone as well.
Available in several sizes, river rock or pea gravel is a great addition or alternative to mulch beds. Depending on the size, it is also commonly used for walkways, driveways, edging, borders, drainage ditches, and tree rings.
River Rock is available in sizes ranging from 2” up to boulder size.

Smooth, round or flat river rocks with a color range of brown, buff and beige earth tones. This stone is normally used in ponds and water features, rock gardens, as edging for plant beds and to create dry creek beds in yards.
Medium River Rounds & Flats

This stone resembles a random fieldstone brick. They are between 2”-5” thick and 6”-12” long. Like most other stack rocks, this is used in covering block masonry walls or chimneys, fireplace exteriors, etc. It is not recommended for use in building freestanding, all-stone stacked walls without mortar. It does make a great edging material for a soft, informal border.
